There are three normal-speed trains between Xi’an and Pingyao. The average travel time is about 9 hours.

From Xi’an to Pingyao, the fastest one is overnight train 2672, which departs from Xi’an Railway Station at 22:53 and arrives at Pingyao Railway Station at 07:24 the next morning, with the travel time of 8.5 hours. Both stations are centrally located with advantageous positions.
